The Racha Chalong Lounge
This Lounge offers guests a retreat-like place to freshen up prior to
boat transfer to Racha Yai. Guests will enjoy many complimentary amenities –
including welcome drinks, light snacks, beverages, complimentary Wi-Fi,
charging stations, and reading material.
When your boat is ready for departure, our shuttle bus will take you directly from the lounge to the awaiting Racha boat at the pier.
Sea conditions vary during the seasons. Should you be prone to seasickness,
kindly approach the Lounge staff for complimentary herbal travel remedies.
Land Transfers
The resort maintains a fleet of luxury vans available for guests requiring more space.
We offer complimentary Wi-Fi to keep you entertained and connected all the way.
The journey from Phuket Airport to the Racha Chalong Lounge is approximately an hour and 30 minutes, depending on traffic conditions. We want you to be well-informed and prepared for your trip.
Land transportation charges
Mini Van, per trip, max 4 guests THB 2,000++
Guests staying five paid nights or more enjoy a 50% discount on round-trip airport transfers. The discount applies to one-way airport transfer only.
Guests staying seven paid nights or more enjoy complimentary round-trip airport transfers.
Kindly book the land transfers at least 24 hours before arrival to ensure availability. Please contact Reservation staff via reservation@theracha.com (8 am – 6 pm Thailand time).
Prices are subject to 17.7% service charge and applicable taxes.

Boat Transfers
The journey from Chalong Pier to The Racha usually takes between 30 – 40 minutes
(depending on sea conditions).

* The 11.30 am and 4.00 pm scheduled boat from Chalong pier to The Racha and the 8.00 am and 3.00 pm scheduled boat from The Racha to Chalong pier are limited to 20 seats and subject to seat availability.
Complimentary scheduled speedboat transfer is valid on the date of check-in and the date of check-out only. This is non-transferable or negotiable.
The above schedule may change subject to weather and sea conditions, but the boat will not leave earlier than advertised.

Private speedboat transfers may be booked at THB 12,000++ per trip

Vessels with a draft exceeding 1m should approach the jetty with caution –
shallow at low tide.
Kindly confirm with Resort Reception your exact location prior to arrival.
The Racha maintains radio watch on Marine VHF Channel 77.
In order for our staff to greet you at the jetty, we ask that you
establish radio contact prior to your arrival on the island.
Important Notices
We recommend guests arrive at The Racha Chalong Lounge at least 30 minutes before their boat departure time. Guests arriving at Phuket International Airport later than 2.00 p.m. may have to take the resort’s private boat transfer. We offer the private boat transfer until 5.30 pm, and the cost per way is THB 12,000 ++.

To ensure a seamless check-in experience at The Racha, guests must present a valid passport or national ID matching the booking confirmation’s name. The check-in and check-out dates and the number of guests must also align with the reservation details. A credit card must also be provided for guarantee, and a copy will be taken for security purposes. For bookings made through an OTA or Travel Agent, guests must present their booking confirmation or voucher, which can be in the form of an email (soft copy) or a printed hard copy. All foreign visitors must submit their arrival details online via the Thailand Digital Arrival Card (TDAC) system up to three days before their scheduled arrival date. To complete the form, travelers should visit the Immigration Bureau’s official portal: 🔗 https://tdac.immigration.go.th

Arrival at Racha Yai
Guests arriving later than 2.00pm at Phuket International Airport cannot be transferred to The Racha on the same evening.
For safety reasons, we do not operate boat transfers after sunset.
In the unfortunate event of a delayed flight arrival (later than 2.00pm), guests will be required to stay the night in Phuket.
Our Guest Services Staff will be happy to assist in making overnight arrangements. We will however, not be financially liable for costs incurred.
The safety of our guests is paramount. In the event of inclement weather and extreme sea conditions, we will not operate boat transfers.
As such, our Guest Services Staff will make alternative arrangements for our guests until conditions are optimal for travel.
Sea conditions may change very quickly and as such we would like our guests to be as comfortable as possible.
Guests will be required to wear floatation vests onboard. Light and loose clothing, non-slip footwear is recommended.
